The Descobertas Boutique Hotel is situated in the historic City Centre of the City of Porto, surrounded by the typical colorful little houses that paint the Douro riverside, with the Postigo de Carvão alley and the river port of the ancient medieval wall as its background. Located at Rua Fonte Taurina, one of the oldest and most characteristic streets of Ribeira, the Hotel has been built on the site of old building of the Mercantile Industrial Society.

At Descobertas Boutique Hotel you will find 18 spacious rooms that offer the perfect combination of timeless elegance, modern comfort and cultural exoticism.

On the surroundings of the Hotel, our guests can easily visit several monuments, such as: Palácio da Bolsa, Casa do Infante, Ferreira Borges Market, São Bento Train Station, the Cathedral and even D. Luís I Bridge. A few metres away you have Praça do Cubo of Ribeira with its numerous terraces and bars and wharves for river tours.
